HORTON, Percy
Horton was born in 1897 in Brighton and studied at Central School and the RCA. He spent two years in prison as a conscientious objector. After the war he was made Master of Drawing at Ruskin School between 1949 ans 1964. Regularly exhibited at the RA and NEAC. The Tate Gallery bought 'The Invalid', a portrait of his mother (see Edith Horton below). Horton died in 1970.
