MAZE, Paul
Maze was born in Le Havre 1887 and died in England in 1979. He knew Dufy, Braque, Derain, Segonzac and Bonnard, all of whom held influence in his work. He held his first solo exhibition in London at the Independent Gallery in 1925. His work is represented in many National collections including the Tate. With his stylistic routes in Impressionism, he has a fluid, eloquent style adopting rich but natural colours.
